After School Clubs
Our club at Acorn Primary School provides breakfast club for all children from 7am-9am and afternoon club 2-6pm term time. Our Oakfield club is open term time 2-6pm. On school holidays we are open 7am-6pm and we also cover early school closures and school staff training days.
Acorn, Breakfast, After School and School Holiday Club

Our Club has been operating from October 2007 out of our purpose built building in the grounds of Acorn Integrated Primary School.
Louise Black is the Supervisor in charge of Acorn Club.

Children come to our club to have fun and socialise with their friends.
There is time for just taking it easy and also playing with toys and each
other but we have regular organised physical team games as well so that
they can let off a bit of steam if they want.
We offer the children internet that is strictly supervised (for example restricting access to any harmful web sites). There are also contemporary games such as a Wii and Playstation. There is a pool table, table tennis and air hockey tables. Whenever possible we get the children outside to play in the fresh air
An afternoon break is always provided. During school holidays we provide afterschool children with morning and afternoon break but would ask that they bring a packed meal for lunch.
To ensure that the children are familiar with their carers we have a team of specific afterschool staff and one of them is a supervisor in charge. We have at least two members of staff on site at all times.
Oakfield Commmunity Centre Afterschool Club

Our Club has been operating since 2003 and children from all primary schools in Carrickfergus attend. To ensure that the children are familiar with their carers we send the same staff from day to day while having many more staff to call on if needed.
The Club supervisor is Omar Aitsiaabad.
We have at least two members of staff on site at all times.
We provide a pickup service from all local schools.
